I love finding albums that you can just throw on, knowing that you won’t have to skip a single track. Love me…Not by Mia Delamar is one of these albums. I love this soul-filled album for several reasons. There of course are the catchy melodies that will have you snapping your fingers and dancing and R&B inspired beats to talk about but this is not the main draw for me. What really drew me into this album, having me hit repeat again and again, was Mia’s voice. 

Mia is a powerhouse of a vocalist. Every song she sings feels like a performance. She is not just singing the notes, she is breathing life into them. A great example of this comes from “Into You.” She makes every difficult vocal riff sound effortless and silky smooth, evidence of her immense talent. This can also be seen in the production of the songs. Mia’s background in music results in each track sounding perfectly balanced. This all results in an album that is great for playing for evening parties where you are looking to keep the good vibes rolling, or just anytime you are looking for a solid album to put on. Keep an eye on Mia Delamar because she has returned to the music scene in style with this album! 

Mia Delamar, an Atlanta native, has an impressive resume when it comes to music. She has rightly been nicknamed the “Swiss Army Knife of Music” because she has experience with every aspect of music! From dancing, getting a degree in music, to producing some tracks, Mia knows this field inside and out which results in her work carrying a level of perfection so rarely found these days.
