Eddie King & ReBoot is the outcome of almost three decades of the combined talents of lead singer and guitarist Eddie King, rhythm guitarist Brian Wilson, and drummer Kevin Blocksom. Once they found their vision, on Thanksgiving Day 2023, the band officially debuted with their first single, "Fallen." They quickly attracted 1,000 followers and has since steadily grown. Drawing on influences from Jeff Beck and The Beatles to Lenny Kravitz and Led Zeppelin, Eddie King & ReBoot start a new era of blues-inspired rock music that also absorbs many of the characteristics that might be termed indie and alternative. As noted for its penetrating lyricism, the band captures the very essence of life's most intense moments and thereby lays the foundation for a radically different project of contemporary rock music.
A great blues-tinged rock ballad. Along with Eddie King on guitar, the guitar takes center stage from the first note here, which showcases the brilliant musicianship of the band. King's impassioned vocals rise as the song takes shape, working transparently to confess words that considerately probe into personal demons and difficulties very much out in the open. The drum's relaxed groove will have you tapping along and give you that laid back feel. "Haunted," with its raw emotion, masterful instrumentation, and truthful storytelling, is a must-listen for fans of the genre and offers a profound and mesmerizing listen from beginning to end.
