Sarah Anne Fernandez’s “Nightmare” Will Leave You Restless

THE ARTIST

Up and coming artist Sarah Anne Fernandez is here to show the world what she has to offer. With a background in Musical Theatre, her versatility and range as a performer make her a dynamic presence on stage, whether she's singing, acting, or dancing. Sarah is an artist who creates work that aims to bring about change. From shifting perspectives to evoking emotions, her art always comes from an honest place.

THE MUSIC

The record opens with a haunting baseline and dark keys. Fernandez instantly confesses her disappointment of the dream she realized wasn’t real. "Nightmare" reaches listeners with its powerful vocals and sounds, paired with vulnerable and witty lyrics. It delves into the themes of gaining confidence and taking a petty stance after a messy break-up. The haunting electro-pop anthem flips the typical sad narrative, empowering the listener and reminding them that they haven't lost anything, but rather the opposite.

THE LYRICS

“I know that when you close your eyes to sleep

She’s next to you but you think of me”

“I’ll be in your nightmares to give you hell

Remind you of the things you did with me

In late nights and dirty dreams

You know you wanna stay asleep

When you know that your nightmare’s me”

Were excited to see whats on the horizon for this diverse talent!
