Each Measure Feature: Gianfranco GFN

FEATURE

Gianfranco GFN, an expert guitarist and composer, combines jazz, blues, bossa nova, funk, and rock into his music. Since the release of LINEA, his first solo album in 2011, Gianfranco’s tracks have garnered acclaim, characterized by exhilarating rhythmic grooves, lively brass sections, and “Giazz” tunes, all set in an acid-jazz design. His original pieces, both reminiscent of the 1970s and contemporary times, brim with musical colors and cascade down with good vibes, forcing the listener to dance along. With this, Gianfranco’s music spread not only throughout the Swiss nation but also discovered its route through national borders on France, Germany, Ireland, and Russia radio stations. Delight in his fantastic sessions and remain updated on his frequented platforms as he continues to sparkle his Let’s Groove energy on more jams.

A mesmerizing odyssey to the impossible and absolute musical satisfaction, “Sing the Song” highlights the combined efforts of Gianfranco GFN on guitar, David Caraccio on bass, Nicolas Pittet on drums, Christian Chopard on keyboard, Vladimir Crabone on vocals, Lucien Matthey on percussion, Alma Cirluzo on background vocals, and JB Moundele on sax tenor, with Jean Paul Assale on trombone and Ediamed N’Cho on trumpet. While the track was recorded and combined throughout Switzerland, Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, and Italy, the immersive experience of this piece goes far beyond the everyday. Boasting an exhilarating, foot-tapping beat and complex musical accompaniment with captivating horns and soulful guitars, “Sing the Song” encourages audiences to live in the moment and revel in the sound of upbeat satisfaction and fantasy. It is an example of how music may join and elevate, produced by artists from all around the globe who have combined their efforts flawlessly.
